NCSD Families,
Yesterday was a historic day for our school district. Thanks to the support of all of you and the Novi community, NCSD passed our 2025 Bond program! This will bring world-class facilities and opportunities to our children and help us continue our positive momentum. Thank you to each of you who helped provide feedback, talk about it with your neighbors, stay informed and ask great questions, and every little thing that was done to support this bond passage. We are truly blessed to be part of a community that is united in a vision of educational excellence, and we cannot thank you enough for all that you have done!
Our construction and design partners, our staff, and our leadership team are excited and ready to get to work. As a school district, we want to bring you in and help you be part of this exciting program, so we will keep you well informed as things get started and we begin executing the plan. Again, we want to thank you with the most sincere gratitude, and we look forward to the exciting things to come!

Great day for a Great Inflatable Race!
Parkview - thank you so much for your support and generosity! Our fundraiser total came in at over $25,000, which is INCREDIBLE!
The PTO will be able to do so many wonderful things with that money throughout the school year. Our celebration is not quite over yet! The top five earning classrooms will be receiving Pizza Parties in the coming weeks!
Our Great Inflatable Race was so much fun! Thank you to the teachers who participated, the PTO Board Members who helped, and to the amazing students who cheered on those characters!

Parkview Taco Party
Thanks to everyone who played a part in making the Parkview Taco Party a success on Monday, August. 4.
Students helped pick fresh tomatoes and jalapeno peppers from the Parkview Garden. The fresh veggies were uses at the community gathering and parents and staff brought plenty of food.
Students were able to reconnect with old friends and make some new friends before the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

Kurtz named Dean of Parkview
Ashley Kurtz
Dean of Students, Parkview Elementary School
Ashley has worked in education for 14 years, teaching first through fourth grade in Michigan, Alabama and North Carolina. This is her fifth year in Novi. She spent the past two years working as a Literacy Coach for the district. Before that she spent two years teaching first and fourth grade at Orchard Hills. She enjoys spending time with her children (Ella and Amelia) and husband Chris, and attending Detroit Lions home games on Sundays.
"I already feel so welcomed at Parkview!" Ashley said. "I am very excited to support the wonderful staff, students and families in this new role!"
